Harrison Fisher "June" Decoupage Sheet

So I promised you another freebie, and here it is. For the 1st of June, we have a decoupage sheet of "June" taken from a vintage print by Harrison Fisher. Harrison Fisher was an American artist, who worked in the late 19th and early 20th Century, specialising in magazine and newspaper illustrations. He was particularly well known for his illustrations of women, and his work regularly appeared on the cover of Cosmopolitan Magainze. This is one of my favourite of his works, very simple, but very beautiful. Needless to say it has proved popular on a number of products I have over on my vintage inspired Zazzle shop, Vintage Collection.

Vintage Peacocks Decoupage Sheet

Another vintage image for you today. This is a stunning etching from a 19th Century book, "A monograph of the Phasianidae", by D. J. Elliot (created 1872). I have digitally enhanced the image and arranged it in a decoupage sheet printable, although this mage is so pretty, it works fabulously on it's own too.

So did you see Waitrose's latest offering in the news today? A white strawberry that tastes like pineapple - imaginativly named a pineberry. It apparently grows wild in South Africa, and was on the verge of extintion, until a farmer took pity on them and started growing them.
